Xango is a global nutrition company established in 2002 that offers a business opportunity for individuals to buy Xango products and resell them at a higher price.
The start-up cost for Xango is a $35 USD membership fee, which is very reasonable. You receive access to the Xango corporate meetings, receive sponsor support, and get a Distributor Kit that contains sales tools and materials that help you succeed. Xango also has a call center with customer and order-entry support, as well as a “back office” available on their Web site so you can easily track your progress.
As a commitment to customer satisfaction, XanGo offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee refund policy. The policy states that all distributors have 30 days to return the initial order purchase and the net purchase price will be refunded.
The compensation plan seems very simple and straightforward. With Xango, you earn 50% commission on every Xango product without any tricks or fuzzy math. Xango independent distributors have the option of increasing their earnings by referring others to participate in the Xango program. Distributors are compensated financially for referrals. They also offer weekly, monthly, and quarterly commissions. As with all income opportunities, you need to read their terms, conditions, and policies very carefully to make sure you understand how the program works, your responsibilities, and how to get paid.
You are probably most familiar with the Xango product Xango Juice. Xango also has many other products available for reselling, such as Glimpse Skin Care, Eleviv supplements, 3SIXTY5 supplements, Mangosteen Pericarp Oil, as well as Juni family skin and hair care products. Xango also offers Goodness Meal Packs, which help feed families in third world countries.
Xango does not appear to be a scam. Xango offers quality products and a reasonable opportunity to earn money, as long as you are willing to work at it. The company has been around for over 7 years and has been mentioned in Forbes magazine. Xango founders Aaron Garrity and Gary Hollister were national finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award in 2006. Garrity is now Chairman of the Board and has been recognized in Utah Business magazine as Utah’s 2008 CEO of The Year. Xango has also won awards for social responsibility. The State of Utah named Xango as the second best place to work in 2008 as well as many other nominations and awards.
If Xango were a scam, I doubt they would receive recognition and awards. They also would not still be in business, as scams typically have to change their business names and locations to escape litigation. Claims that Xango is a scam does not appear to have any merit as they have not been sued by any independent distributors or by Xango customers.
Xango has been rated by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) with a “B-”, which is quite good. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has had no complaints of Xango.
Is Xango a scam? No, Xango is a legitimate business opportunity.
