Network Marketing Success SecretsI have worked in the network marketing industry for over 10 years, first as a creator of replicated systems for network maketers, and later as a MLM rep myself. I’ve seen what it takes to succeed in this industry, and personally I think anyone can make a good second income in this business. I do think it takes a special breed of person to hit a full-time income, but I think that’s mainly a matter of determination and persistence rather than ability. Here are 7 tips for MLM Success for you to ponder.

  1. Believe In The Business Model – This might be common sense, but if you don’t really believe in the MLM home business model, you’re not going to have the will or long-term vision required to make it in this industry.
  2. Never Quit (Count The Cost) – These next two are related, but you can’t quit your MLM company after 30 days. You must take a long term view and keep pressing forward, even when you don’t think things are working for you. Maybe you need to change strategies, but you can’t quit.
  3. Take A Long-Term View – When things are dark and the outlook is grim, you must be focused on building your business. The only way to slog through things like calling leads and writing blog posts daily is to take a look at what you want your life to be like 2 or 3 years from now, when your new business is generating a regular income and you have the time freedom to do the things you’ve always dreamed of.
  4. Consider A Funded Proposal – A funded proposal like the one over at MLM Rock Stars can help you grow your list, cover your expenses, and begin building a new list of warm prospects. Don’t underestimate the power of a took like this.
  5. Use Automation – Record your presentations and direct people to them. Write down your follow-up emails and place them in an autoresponder.   6. Build Your List (And Follow-up) – Jim Rohn used to talk about how the fortune is in the follow-up. I’ve personally seen people come through my lead funnel and then come back weeks or even months later and upgrade to the pro service or purchase a product from me. You need to keep following up with your prospects – within reason.
  7. Build Relationships – You can have the best lead system on the planet, but if you’re not following up with your leads and building personal relationships, it won’t work. Reach out by phone, email and on facebook and you’ll begin to see your efforts pay off – especially when your leads start calling YOU!
